It’s absolutely crazy to me that I’m already over the half way point. It really only feels like yesterday that I found out I was pregnant. And now we’re here, 21weeks in and only 19 more weeks to go. It’s kind of scary how fast it goes second time around. I guess that’s to be expected when you have a crazy 10 month old to look to chase around and and look after but I honestly wouldn’t change it for the world.
How Far Along
I’m currently 21weeks and 1 day pregnant.
Still wearing my normal size tops and some of my jeans. Maternity leggings though are becoming my new best friend. Definitely wouldn’t survive without them. My favourite at the moment are from H&M.
Nothing crazy at the moment. All I want is bread or any carbs really.
Sleep has been good so far this week. The only thing that’s been bothering me is waking up 3 times a night to go to the bathroom. Baby boy must be resting his head on my bladder because I feel like I spend my whole life in the bathroom now.
Starting to feel lots of pressure down below. Baby boy seems to be sitting quite low which means more frequent trips to the bathroom. I can’t even drink a sip of water without needing to run to the toilet. Back pain is another one. Now that my daughter is very mobile, I’m constantly picking her up out of risky areas and trying to keep her out of trouble, so my back is definitely starting to feel it.
Feeling lots of movement at night. He likes to sleep a lot during the day and then come alive as soon as I get into bed. He’s just like his big sister when she was in my belly.
I feel like I’m finally starting to settle into my pregnancy, so my mood is starting to get better. The first 15 weeks I was extremely emotional (I still am now but not as bad) Now it’s just the usual.
Best moment this week
Since we found out the gender two weeks ago, I’m now able to shop for little man so that’s been really exciting. I never thought I would prefer boy clothes over girls, but I’m slowly starting to change my mind. Baby boy clothes are so adorable.
That’s it for my 21 week update. Make sure to check back here fortnightly if pregnancy updates are your thing.
